We are pleased to announce that we have now secured software to remap the standard ECUs of Mitsubishi Evos V - X and also Subaru imprezas 1999 up.
The standard ECUs are more than capable of producing HP figures of up to 450bhp. However up until now this has been a very expensive modification.
Unlocking and modifying the standard ECU will not only provide the user with more horsepower, torque and a smoother drive, but it will also provide features such as:
Mild Anti-Lag
Launch Control
Valet-Mode Immobiliser
Switchable Maps
Until now all of these features have been unaccessable and would have required a standalone ECU.
The beauty of using the standard ECU to gain horsepower is that the original fault codes still exist. The CEL will still come on should there be a problem with the car, and it can be diagnosed with the OBDII. All factory safety levels are retained, not bypassed and everything remains as it should do.
East Coast Customs can now bring you these extras along with a high quality, safe remap from as little as £350, including proof in the form of a dyno printout before and after.
All work is carried out in-house by our very competent mapper "The Bear", who also built and mapped the infamous 901bhp Evo VI RS amongst many others. Charlie (The Bear) has done all the mapping at ECC since its opening in 2005.
